Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Monday met at the Grand Serail with Danish Ambassador to Lebanon, Jan Top Christensen, accompanied with a delegation of Vestas Wind Systems Company, with talks featuring high on the adoption of aeolian energy to produce electricity power.
The meeting accordingly broached the available economic means in an effort to adopt this newly suggested energy so as to find a suitable solution to the long-simmering power crisis in Lebanon.
PM Mikati later met with Armenian ambassador Ashot Kotcharian over the Lebanese-Armenian bilateral ties, namely on the economic and trade levels.
The pair reportedly shone light on the two-pronged political relations and the importance to activate the work of the joint governmental commission.
Minister of Information, Walid Daouq, had also been to the Grand Serail today for a meeting with PM Mikati over an array of related ministerial affairs.
On the other hand, Premier Mikati today tackled most recent developments in Lebanon and the likely repercussions of neighboring unrest with Member of Parliament Boutros Harb, who lashed out at what he termed "the inadmissible political blackmailing, threatening to foment a wider political crisis."
The Deputy also expressed fears over news about some networks preparing attacks on a number of political and security officials.
Batroun governmental hospital featured high today on talks between Mikati and Hrab, whereby the latter reminded that he had submitted the related dossier to his successor, namely Minister Charbel Nahhas. "This major dossier is still not put forth before the cabinet," he deplored.
Among Grand Serail itinerants today, had also been former Yemenite President Ali Salim Al-Bayd, Beirut and Tripoli Engineers Orders, ISF Chief Major General Ashraf Rifi, and Head of Al-Maqassed philanthropic association, Amine Daouq.
